Meet the Author
Lucia Qian is a freshman Architecture major and the University of Maryland. She is a big art gal and decided to try out creative writing because she has absolutely no clue about it! After this experience, she thinks she will stick to photography, oil paint, architectural sketching and fashion design as her go-to artistic mediums. If she was involved in the literary field, she can be found designing costumes and movie posters for the book-to-movie adaptation. She really enjoys reading other's people writing nonetheless.

Synopsis:
Defiant, restless, ambitious 19-year-old Margret Roose is sick of her near-perfect life, a straight-A student who breezed her way into New York University to become the next greatest thing. What thing? She doesn’t know and she doesn’t think she ever will. She decides to cut off her hair in her dorm, pack a bag, and take a road trip to the West Coast to visit her divorced mother for the first time in ten years. Taking field notes in her Moleskin journal, she documents her coming of age tale along the way.
